On July 27, the new International Student Recruitment Task Force of Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA) Held the first meeting in 2020.Vice President Li Aiqun and the heads of schools and departments such as the IDRI, Office of Academic Affairs, Graduate School, various schools, Finance Office, Audit Office, National Capital Office and Logistics Office attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Chen Tao, Vice Director of IDRI.

The meeting reviewed the 2020 International Undergraduate and Postgraduate Admissions Brochure, the 2020 International Student Recruitment Plan of BUCEA, and the proposed results of the first batch of students who have completed their entrance examinations. Teachers present at the meeting discussed the setting of admission majors, admission requirements, international student training programs, international education teacher incentives, etc.

Li Aiqun put forwardrequirements on three the recruitment, cultivation and quality assurance of international students. He stressed that the education of international students was an important part of the higher education and talent training system of BUCEA, and its quantity and quality were key factors in the internationalization process of BUCEA. IDRI should cooperate with various schools and functional departments to promote international student recruitment and admission, further improve the training program to cover all graduate and undergraduate majors as possible, strengthen the daily communication between the international student training systems at the school and college levels, and focus on the quality control of the overall process of talent training besides strengthening the quality control of admission.
