Dear international students and alumni:
为促进不同国家青年一代的人文交流，增进外国留学生知华、友华情怀和对中国发展变化的深刻认知，受教育部国际司委托，教育部留学服务中心（CSCSE）今年将举办第五届“我与中国的美丽邂逅”系列征文活动暨短视频大赛。国际化发展研究院（国际教育学院）将组织银河赌场
国际学生及校友参赛。
With the hope of helping to enrich your experience in China and promote the cultural exchanges among international students from different parts of the world, authorized by the Ministry of Education of China, the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchanges (CSCSE), will hold the 5th “My Beautiful Encounter with China” essay competition as well as a short-video competition with the same theme this year. The International Development Research Institute (School of International Education) will organize the participation of our international students and alumni.
一．参赛形式:
Form of Participation:
参赛者可以选择两种形式（征文或短视频），也可以两种形式都参加。所有参赛作品必须是原创的，不得在其他报纸、书籍或网站上发表，也不得参与其他比赛。征文和短视频分开评审。
Participants may choose from either of the two forms (essay or short-video), or join both of them. All assessments must be original, without being published in other newspapers, books or websites, or being contributed to other competitions. Assessments of these two competitions are separate and independent.
二.征文参赛要求:
Requirements of Essay:
1.征文大赛鼓励来华留学生对中国经验和中国发展进行积极地思考与探讨，畅想中外在经济、社会、科技、人文交流等方面的美好未来。以来华留学生自身视角讲述在中国和银河赌场在线平台
学习、生活、工作的经历与感悟，用文字讲述生动真实的中国故事，描绘中国的经济发展、科技成果、自然风光、城市面貌、人文交往等。
I. We expect you to share your experiences and insights of China’s development, and to imagine the bright future of economic, social, scientific and cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries. Also, you can shareperceptions of studying, living and working of in China and BUCEA, tell vivid and true Chinese stories, and describe China's economic development, scientific and technological achievements, natural scenery, urban features and cultural exchanges.
2．征文须用中文撰写，题目自拟，体裁不限，篇幅1000字左右。
II. The essay must be written in Chinese. Theme can be self-determined. There is no restriction to the genre. The essay should be around 1000 Chinese characters.
三．短视频参赛要求:
Requirements of Short-Video:
1.以“我的校园”为主题，从来华留学生视角记录自己在中国和银河赌场在线平台
学习、生活、旅行中的所知所见，讲述生动真实的中国故事，抒发感人至深的中国情怀。
2.视频时长：1分钟-6分钟；视频格式：MP4；
3.语言要求：建议使用中文，如使用英文，请配备中文字幕。
I. With "My Campus" as the subject, you can record your study, life and travel experiences in China and BUCEA asan overseas student, tell vivid and true Chinese stories and express touching Chinese sentiments through the lens.
II. Video Duration: 1-6 minutes. Video Format: MP4.
III. Language: Chinese language recommended. If you use English, please add Chinese subtitles.
四．投稿截止时间：
Deadline:
请在2021年7月5日前将征文和短视频作品发送至邮箱[email protected].
*如短视频因所占空间较大无法直接发送，可以上传至“百度云”并将链接发送至邮箱；
*建议将文章或视频文件名称统一为：参赛者学号+中文姓名+国籍+文章题目；
*建议征文的正文部分字体：宋体，小4号字，1.5倍行距；
Please send the essay and short video to [email protected]. before July 5, 2021.
* For oversized videos, a BaiDuYun link is recommended which should be sent tothe same email address stated above.
* It is suggested that the name of the essay or video file be saved as following: Chinese name of the contestant + nationality + title of the entries.
*The font of essay body should be Simsun, size 12, 1.5 line spacing.
